Cleveland Timber is a trading style of Cleveland Timber Supplies Ltd.

If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of these terms and conditions shall not be affected and shall remain in force.

Any user of our services demonstrates that the total and expressed reading of this legal document and our Privacy Policy, in its updated version under the EU regulation 2016/679 (General Data Protection Act), and have also understood and accepted them in their entire integrity.

Natural products may show some colour variations. We shall not be liable to you where performance of any of our obligations to you is prevented, frustrated or impeded by reason of acts of God, war and other hostilities, civil commotion, accident, strikes, lock outs, trade disputes, acts or restraints of Government, imposition or restrictions of imports or exports or any other cause not within the reasonable control of Cleveland Timber. All sizes quoted are approximate. Where Cleveland Timber agrees to provide a specifically designed plan, the Customer agrees to check the accuracy and suitability of the plan.

As part of our card fraud prevention process, we are unable to accept orders that have non local billing addresses. If we recieve an order that is out of our local area we may have to cancel it and refund your order in full. The refund typically takes a few working days to reach your account from your bank. If you still require to place an order with us, you can pay via bank transfer, chip and pin in store or via cash in store.

Before working with electricity, gas or water you should always consult an appropriate professional electrician or CORGI-registered plumber. When working with electricity always turn off the mains. In connection with building work Cleveland Timber cannot advise on planning permission or building regulation issues.

The Customer is responsible for obtaining all necessary planning permission and local authority consents and permissions for any work to be carried out.
Any plan drawn by Cleveland Timber is, and remains, its property and may not be reproduced in whole or in part without its previous written consent. Always read and follow any relevant manuals and safety instructions. 

Cleveland Timber will do all that it reasonably can to meet the date given for delivery. In the case of unforeseen circumstances, beyond the reasonable control of Cleveland Timber may not be able to do so. In such circumstances Cleveland Timber will contact the Customer and agree an alternative date. The Customer will also do all that he/she reasonably can to enable the delivery to take place on the given date. In the case of unforeseen circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Customer the Customer may not be able to do so. In such circumstances the Customer will contact Cleveland Timber and agree and alternative date.

As soon as Cleveland Timber has delivered the goods, the Customer will be responsible for their safekeeping and Cleveland Timber will not be responsible for any damage or fault arising from incorrect storage. 

Ownership of the goods shall remain with Cleveland Timber and shall not pass to the Customer until the agreed price for them, together with all other sums due from the Customer to Cleveland Timber, have been paid in full.

These terms and conditions and any contract between us shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the English Courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes between us.

Contracts are made and accepted subject to these Conditions of Sale. Contracts that are made in Scotland shall be governed by Scottish Law otherwise this contract shall be governed by English Law and no other.
In these terms and conditions: 
"Cleveland Timber " means, Cleveland Timber and any other connected organisation that supplies the goods ordered by you and any successor to its business;
"We and Us" means Cleveland Timber either alone or together with you, as the context requires;

"Working day" means every day of the year except weekends, and English statutory and public holidays;
"You" means the person ordering goods subject to these terms and conditions;

How we use your details
Our offers: Once you have purchased with us, we would like to send you product updates, our latest information and special offers.  You can always e–mail us with your details and mailing preferences.
